Common Mistakes On Social Media

Running a social media page can help you reach and connect with many people, but some common mistakes can hurt your growth. Here are three mistakes to avoid, along with simple tips to do better.

1. “Completely” Copying Others

It’s good to get inspired/get ideas from other pages, but don’t flatout ‘copy and paste’ the videos. This can have significant impact on the growth of your page. Make sure you create videos in your own style, think outside of the box and do thinks differently. Think about what makes your page special and share that.

2. Posting Content Outside Your Niche

Sharing content that doesn’t match your niche can confuse your followers. They may lose interest if they don’t know what to expect. Stay focused on your niche to keep your audience engaged. If you want to try new content, do it slowly. Pick topics that relate to your current niche and introduce them step by step. This helps your audience adjust while keeping their trust. Always create content that your followers enjoy and expect from you (and what you enjoy creating ofcourse).

3. Posting Without a Plan

Posting randomly without a plan can decrease your page’s growth. It is important to stay on track and keep in mind when your viewers are most likely to see your content (see the previous post/e-mail) Make sure you’re on time for your posts. A good tip is to create a schedule for your posts. Think about what your audience likes and plan your content around that. Use a calendar or app to stay organized. This keeps your page active and focused, which is very important.

That’s all for now.
